It appears the Romney & McCain money have won the day! Farewell ye Anderson, SC. That Lawrence Welch Program's "Good Night" sound is appropriate.

I think it is more, "Farewell ye, Joey"

Atta boy Bob. Another easy win. You've done well by your constituents.

Joey...SEEYA!

Do you really wonder how much "McCain/Romney money" went into Waldrep's campaign. I wonder how much Joey money went into MacKay's campaign? Oh, that's right, now that there will be an audit, probably NONE.

With 450 vote margin, the voters have spoken clearly again!

Congratulations Mr Waldrep

You can say see ya to Mr. Preston all you want, but he was just offered and signed a new contract so if your "brilliant" (if you can't figure it out this is a joke) leaders decide to get rid of him, Anderson County will have to buy out the rest of his contract and then, if they can actually find someone who wants to join this circus, pay him or her. Sure sounds like a great investment to me. hahaha

If these county council members do something like that under a lame duck scenario, when the public has made it clear they don't like Preston, they should be criminally prosecuted! Interesting how MacKay had 600 fewer votes this go around. I am sure a new contract for Preston, if he has indeed been given one, doesn't cover criminal behavior. If he has authorized the breaking down of credit card charges to reduce their visibility in an audit, the criminal intent is there to avoid detection.

"if he has indeed given one"? Before you speak, know your facts. He has. "cover criminal behavior"? I am laughing so hard, I can'y type. I can assure you that a person of his character (yes I know my facts!) has NOT committed any crime. He happens to be working very hard for Anderson County, as he has since he was hired to come here. I wish the people that keep casting horrible accusations towards him would show me their "glass house".

Post him at a kool-aide stand in front of the County Building. He'll leave on his own.
