The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly seminar for businesses from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 15. The seminar will be held at the chamber at 907 North Main Street, Suite 200 in Anderson. The topic will be "Employment Law Briefing." Ogletree Deakins will facilitate the seminar.
The seminar will address the latest labor and employment law topics including: The Employee Free Choice Act: Labor's Blueprint to Organize Your Workforce, which will be presented by John Creech; The Military Amendments to the FMLA which will be presented by Mary Lou Hill; and Amendments to Americans with Disabilities Act which will be presented by Phillip Kilgore.
