Dr. and Mrs. Charles E. Holland

PICKENS, SC - Dr. and Mrs. Charles E. Holland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 28, 2008 with a reception held at Salem Baptist Church in Anderson hosted by their church family. The couple were married on October 6, 1958 in Westminster, S.C. Kathryn Holland is the former Kathryn Lanning, the daughter of the late Erbie and Bertie Lanning of Salem, S.C. Charles Holland is the son of Paskell and Margaret Holland of Ebenezer, S.C. The couple have two sons, Charles Anthony Holland of Cleveland, Ga and Charles Christopher Holland of Dacula, Ga. Their grandchildren are Tiffny, Tyrus, Trailly, Olivia and Caleb Holland. Dr. Holland is the pastor of Salem Baptist Church and Mrs. Holland is retired. The couple attribute their long lasting marriage to love, devotion and respect for one another, in the Lord.
