Margaret and Roy L. Mack

ANDERSON, SC - October 23, 2008 marked the 50th wedding anniversary of Margaret and Roy L. Mack. The couple celebrated the occasion with a dinner party hosted by their daughter, Candice M. Harding and their grandson, Jonathan Harding, at the Galley Restaurant on Thursday evening, October 23, 2008, and with a coffee and cake reception after the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass on October 26, 2008 at Saint Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Roy is a former resident of Seneca, S.C. and the son of the late Mr. John Vernon Mack and Nina Dixon Mack. Margaret is a native Andersonian and the daughter of the late Rev. Walter Adger, Sr. and Pearl Greenlee Adger. Both Roy and Margaret are retired educators from Anderson School District 5. Since his retirement, Roy has remained active as an educator through his work as a regular substitute at Westside High School and Margaret is an elected member of the Anderson School District 5 Board of Trustees.
