Today I saw a lady over 100 years old getting ready to vote. This is remarkable. This is the most important election of our lifetimes and anyone who does not go out to vote will have thrown away their born right to do so and will no longer have any reason to complain about the government at the supper table. Not to mention the ignorance towards our troops who put their lives on the line every day so we are able to exercise that very same right.
It is time to do away with political affiliation and vote for the person that will benefit our great nation best. I am tired of people complaining about the way things are, but I see no one doing anything about it. I guess, unless it’s you who will need to decide between food or medication, you really never thought about it.
I d believe this is the greatest country in the world. But you and I as “regular Joes” will not see any bailout. What is going to happen to our health insurance, schools, taxes, jobs, Social Security and the immigration problem? The list just keeps getting longer.
It’s time our voices be heard. I am not sure if either of our presidential candidates really understand the average American community. And I think it’s time they heard us.
My only request is this: Go out and vote, make your voice heard. Everybody has the right and the duty to do so.
Make this one count.
