Mr. and Mrs. Randy and Gwen Moore

LAVONIA, GA - Mr. and Mrs. Randy and Gwen Moore celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception on September 11, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, SC. The family will all be together for several days of festivities in Myrtle Beach. The couple were united in marriage on September 11, 1948 at the bride's home in Canon, GA. Gwen H. Moore is the daughter of the late Naomi Davis Higginbotham and the late Clarence Marvin Higginbotham of Canon. Randy is the son of the late Jewell Brown Moore and the late Elvey Gibson Moore of Royston, GA. The couple have three daughters, Marilyn M. Nolan of Charlotte, NC, Rosalyn Moore of Stone Mountain, GA and Jocelyn M. Thompson of Rock Springs, WY. They have five grandchildren, Sean Nolan, Scott Nolan, Dale Arrants, Davis Arrants and the late Dean Arrants. They also have two great-grandchildren, Bryce Nolan and Bailee Nolan. The couple attribute their long lasting marriage to a deep love and respect for each other and a wonderful sense of humor! Congratulations on your special day, Mom and Dad.
