Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney argues with a referee in the third quarter about a holding penalty of a kick off return during Clemson's game against Nebraska in the Konica Minolta Gator Bowl on Thursday.

— Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has announced plans for his coaching staff.

Athletic department spokesman Tim Bourret said Monday that Billy Napier has been promoted to offensive coordinator. A telephone conference was also planned Monday with the team’s new defensive coordinator, Kevin Steele.

Swinney told The State of Columbia that running back C.J. Spiller hasn’t decided whether to enter the NFL draft. The coach said he didn’t think other juniors like Jacoby Ford who had petitioned for draft projection were considering turning pro.
