The Rams got their first win of the season last week in part because they showed more consistency than they’ve shown for most of the season. Coach Ted Luckadoo said his team played very well on offense, and pretty good on defense, and had one special teams breakdown.

The highlight of the offense was senior receiver Matt Levine’s nine catches, which was two short of the school record.

This week, Westside travels to Easley in a meeting of 1-8 teams. While Westside has a win in region play, Easley is 0-3.

“We’ve accomplished the same amount of success, and we can’t overlook anybody,” Luckadoo said.

And Luckadoo said the Rams would practice with the same message they had last week. For as many struggles as they’ve had this season, they can still make the playoffs if they beat Easley this week, and T.L. Hanna next week.
