Popular entertainment on a 100-degree days are cooling off in Broadway Lake, Hartwell Lake, or a personal swimming pool. As quick as farmers can pick cantaloupe and watermelon, customers are buying them. 'I'll have to get another truckload tommorrow,' David Richardson said about running out of the fruit at the Boyce Street Produce stand.
