    D.J. Rawls, 11, of Pendleton attended the National Hunting and Fishing Day festivities at Duke Energy's World of Energy in Seneca Saturday and got an up close look at nature. Eklund is majoring in veterinary science at Clemson.


    Carol Burdette, Rotary District 7750 Governor, spoke to the Golden Corner Rotary Club Wednesday at the Seneca Family Restaurant on U.S. 123 in Seneca. Burdette urged Rotarians to increase membership and develop programs to combat the more than 26,000 child deaths that occur everyday for children birth to 5-years old world wide.
